The Closet
Cable modem and 4 port KVM Switch
Far right: Dell GX260 with 2 network cards. This is my Linux router (Ubuntu Hardy 8.04). I don't want to elaborate anymore on this.
Left: 5 port Netgear 10/100 switch
Right: 8 port D-link gigabit switch
Left: Compaq DC7100 3.4Ghz, 1GB, 1TB setup as a NAS (Network Attached Storage) - This box has Windows XP Pro on a 2GB flash drive. The XP load takes up 400MB and uses about 92MB of ram before using it with apache. Now it runs all my websites:
(www.blulite.org - products.blulite.org - invoice.blulite.org - www.kingcobra289.com - ebay.kingcobra289.com - www.4evern2.com)
It is also an Image Server and Media Server (Movies).
Right: Compaq DC7100 3.4Ghz, 1GB, 1.5TB + 80GB boot drive setup with Windows 2003 Server Standard - This box is the Domain Controller w/ Active Directory, Media Server (TV Shows), File Server, DNS Server, DHCP Server, Name Server (I think thats all).
This is the power source (APC 2200 w/ 4 55Whr batteries). It doesn't look all that good but I lost power for 2 hours and lost 1 bar. I think it could last for over 12 hours but not sure I want to test that.
This picture is the exhaust with 2 120mm fans running at 7 volts. Its about a 3in from the ceiling. I also have a thermometer to keep track of the temps.
This picture is the intake in my master bath about a foot off the floor.
